Helsinki (ANTARA News / Reuters) - The events that occurred in Finland proved very important for the ship captain; a ferry ran aground when the captain is locked in a small room.
A member of staff with difficulty trying to slow the pace of inter-island passenger vessel delivery, but the ferry - which carry 54 passengers - crashed into rocks near the coast of Helsinki, the Finnish coast guard said Friday (19 / 8).
Ferry captain was trapped in the toilet because the door lock jammed and he cried for help, said the coast guard was quoted as saying by Reuters, which monitored ANTARA here on Saturday.
Some passengers bruises and stuff on the table broke in the accident. The Coast Guard is investigating whether the captain's actions make it categorized as criminal acts that endanger the lives of people.
"He was locked in the toilet. When the staff member can open the door, it was too late," said Jan Sundell, chief investigator.
